I honestly feel like the last month was one foggy blur. I couldn’t think of a title for this post so I decided to call it the same. I cannot tell you that I am excited per say, for the cold weather that is arriving, but I am starting to warm up to the idea. My oldest daughter wanted to watch home videos yesterday and so I pulled one out and the memories of Christmas time flooded my mind. I suddenly found myself looking outside at the rain and accepting it. I unexpectedly wanted squash & bacon soup, (but who doesn’t want bacon at any given time of day?… so technically that wasn’t too unexpected ;)) hot apple cider, and pumpkin pie. All of my senses’ memories were evoked. The seasons are changing, and as much as I love summer, I am preparing my heart and mind for the chill. I’m not saying, however, that I wouldn’t mind a few extra days of summer sunshine….
Here is a preview of a family session that I squeezed into last weekends craziness. With the wedding on Saturday then the WPPI Seattle Road trip seminar thrown in the mix, I was one busy woman. Anyways, this is such a cute little family~ The little 9 month old boy was “Mr. Serious” almost the whole time! It was tough to crack a smile out of this one, of course Grandma and I did our best to make it happen! (Thanks grandma, for giving me bunny ears and being extra goofy behind me) 🙂 Hope you all enjoy the sneak peek!
