The little things

Today’s thought is simply “taking time for the little things”. I absolutely love watching my girls explore their surroundings. I love to catch them scrutinizing & examining the little things that we so easily overlook as adults. The small almost unimportant objects they notice…but wait it rotates, or look it can bounce if I throw it..oh that one BREAKS when I throw IT! haha. To see through the eyes of a child, to see with the mindset of a child, to discover & explore the small stuff, that is today’s objective. Try and take the time, try and not overlook the little things. In our adult lives that may be sending a smile to the grocery store clerk, not just walking out focused on your next destination. Your smile means a lot to that person, believe me. Open the door for someone or let that guy go ahead of you in line. Take the time to perhaps “explore” your heart & show an act of kindness & love today. Because, sometimes it’s the little things in life that make the biggest impacts.

I am so thankful for my sweet peas for the little things they lead me to see.
