Before the world comes to a complete halt with the arrival of your first born child, there is the waiting. The expecting. The anticipation. Once you are as prepared as you can be, all you can do is be patient while that little life grows and takes its form. I love maternity photos for this reason. I love capturing that distinct love between mother and father, a love that knows only each other and a love that that created an entity. There is so much to remember right now, the way life is before. While everyone is anxious & obviously excited to meet and hold fresh life, now is the time to embrace and remember these last moments of just you and your partner, and frankly…. sleep as much as humanly possible!
Our session started out with rain, (which I think made for romantic NOTEBOOK-like photos/ thank you Washington ) which cleared up early on and left us with gorgeous, warm sunny rays. Hope you all enjoy these!
