New Life.
Here is sweet, sweet baby Alaya. This session is very indicative of a typical Velvet Owl newborn life session. I see beauty in the in between moments. The wide-eyed and crying moments. The moments that you remember as a parent. My goal is to give the viewer a sense of connection to each image. To evoke an emotion. A story. I want to make my art speak, not only to the clients in the photos, but to everyone who glances at it. To be able to relate to a moment, to have your own emotions stirred up ~ it’s a powerful thing.
