Home.

Beauty in the everyday.

There’s often these moments that happen while at home and I think, man, I wish this was on camera… or  I want to remember THIS forever.  Times like when we are making dinner together as a family or while we’re just laying around playing  playing board games or reading books.
These little moments that in and of themselves aren’t spectacular moments, but they are our everyday memories and the moments that make up our lives.

I want to always remember the everyday…. because it means the most to me…

Phone pics are great for capturing most days (keep on snapping daily memories!!) but when it’s time to truly capture your story… it’s time for your very own at home lifestyle session… and you know where to find me!

I am so happy when my clients feel these same emotions and want their families captured with those valuable memories as well. Lifestyle at home sessions are truly amazing. If you haven’t given it a chance…. you definitely should. It’s fun, relaxing and there is a certain comfort that comes from being in your own environment.

This is the type of album everyone needs sitting on their coffee tables.

Invest in your memories…in freezing the little moments that pass so quickly.

They visited me for a 10 year anniversary photo session all the way from Florida, and I am honored they asked me to portray their love story.

Aaron & Krystle 3-22-13:: {Silcox Hut, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood.Oregon Wedding Photographer}

Their day had finally arrived, March, 22nd, 2013.

We arrived at Timberline lodge, Mt. Hood on Friday  afternoon and soon after, took a CAT up the mountain to 7,000 ft to arrive at the Silcox Hut.

Although we didn’t have the clear skies and sunny weather everyone had been hoping for…I think everything turned out exactly the way it was meant to be.

The windy, snowy, white-out weather made for a  very cozy feel in the photos, I couldn’t have been happier. We only shot for about 10 minuets total outside, due to the chilly conditions – and those 10 min were well worth it.

The whole feel of the wedding was very intimate with only about 50 of their closest family and friends in attendance. I loved it.

Thank you Aaron & Krystle- hope you enjoy these….It was very hard for me to narrow down my preview of the day…. long post ahead…
